Before I saw this video about the home of architect David Ling on Dwell.com, I didn't give much thought to the idea of designing my own home. It is truly an inspiring home - not because the design is polished to perfection, but because the home seems to truly belong to him. I cannot wait to design my own home. And it will not be a home designed to impress others. It will be a home where I can unleash my wildest design ideas that have been rejected elsewhere. It will be a place of cheer, exploration and constant interest, because those qualities suit me. It will be terrific.
