Duston Todd

I consistently make fun of my older sister for being such a "typical" idealist about love. Obviously, I'm not a particularly sappy sort of romantic, which is probably why I am so delighted by many of the photographs taken by Duston Todd. They convey a wide range of aspects of love, many of which are really intriguing or fun. And it's not just "couple" love- there's family love too! (Images from dustontodd.blogspot.com)

MUMUTH

Again, I have an intense weakness for UNStudio projects. This one is the Haus für Musik und Musiktheater in Graz, Austria. Curves and bright colors- 2 of my favorite things. (Images from Dezeen.com)

This thesis project by Rice University student, Nkiru, is graphically intriguing. Read more here.

Marc Jacobs Spring 09

I have a weakness for Marc Jacobs. Bright jewel tones, architectural pleating and structure are always a win for me.

8 Towers

I know it's been quite some time since I last posted- but studio projects have been attacking me. I have been accumulating inspiration still, however, and will now proceed to post what I have collected.

The first- 8 Towers by SsD. I find the architecture be quite intimidating and cold, rather than a welcoming place to live, but something about the red and grey graphics has caught my eye. (Images from SsDarchitecture.com)

Rolling Bridge

This rolling bridge is by Heatherwick Studio. It's terrific and reminds me a lot of those "rollie pollie" bugs. (Images from ArchiCentral.com)
