Wind-Up Bird Chronicle

This was a very... leisurely book. While I liked it, I can't say I loved it, as it wasn't always easy to get through some parts of the book. The ideas in it were interesting, but I might have appreciated the subtle aspects of this book more if I had had someone to discuss them with. The ideas of those who inflict harm and those who absorb it was certainly the biggest idea and to be honest, I'm not entirely sure what the importance of that idea is.
