Library Information Desk

This desk by TU Delft is made out of a old books. It's beautifully made, but I'm not sure how I feel about using books in such a manner...

A Brilliant Idea...

This is an amazing idea- recycled computer cases! With all the waste that's generated by technology that constantly needs updating and replacing, utilizing recycled material would be terrific. This idea is by Francesco Biasci. (Images from Inhabitat.com).

Recycle!

Tadao Ando was my first favorite architect. I loved his clean, subtly powerful designs and I really loved the way he worked with light in his buildings. I first learned about Ando's Morimoto restaurant about a year ago, but I still really appreciate the way he utilized plastic water bottles to create this amazing lit wall. It's such a creative way of reusing something that is generally viewed as common, or as trash, and turning it into something that is incredibly appealing, visually.
